Pengrui Foundation Empowers the Greater Bay Area to Connect with Global Science

For the fourth consecutive year, the Pengrui Public Welfare Foundation has played a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the Greater Bay Area and the global scientific community. By hosting top-tier scientists from around the world, the foundation has solidified the region’s position as a burgeoning hub for international research and technological innovation.

Recent events, including the 2026 Greater Bay Area Science Forum and the seventh China (Guangdong) Artificial Intelligence Forum held in Nansha, Guangzhou, have highlighted the area’s commitment to advancing frontier technologies. These forums serve as a platform for collaborative dialogue, where experts discuss the integration of AI into societal structures and the acceleration of scientific research into practical, real-world applications. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to transition the Greater Bay Area into a 2.0 stage of collaborative innovation.

Beyond high-level academic exchange, the foundation has placed a strong emphasis on inspiring the next generation. By facilitating dialogues between world-renowned scientists and local youth, the program aims to cultivate a culture of curiosity and scientific inquiry. This engagement is seen as essential for the long-term development of the region, ensuring that the youth are equipped to navigate and contribute to the rapidly evolving global scientific landscape.

As the Greater Bay Area continues to accelerate its efforts in frontier technology, the role of philanthropic organizations like the Pengrui Foundation becomes increasingly vital. By fostering an environment that encourages international cooperation and local talent development, the foundation is helping to ensure that the region remains at the forefront of global scientific progress.
