MP Warns Children Are Spending Too Much Time on Maths App TT Rockstars

A British Member of Parliament has raised serious concerns regarding the amount of time children are spending on the popular educational times table game, TT Rockstars. The digital learning tool, widely used in schools and homes to help students improve their multiplication skills, has come under scrutiny over potential excessive screen time impacts.

In response to the growing concerns voiced by lawmakers and parents alike, the developers behind the widely utilized app have stepped forward to address the issue. Representatives for TT Rockstars announced that they are actively introducing new curfews and stricter limits on daily screen time to ensure that students maintain a healthy balance between digital learning and other essential activities.

The debate highlights a broader national conversation about the role of technology in modern education and the potential pitfalls of gamified learning platforms. While educators widely praise the app for its effectiveness in boosting mathematical fluency, policymakers emphasize the importance of safeguarding young users from digital burnout and ensuring screen moderation.
