Five teenagers hospitalized following stabbing at Halloween event

Five teenagers sustained serious injuries during a stabbing incident at a Halloween celebration in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire. Local law enforcement arrived at a residence on Park Road shortly after 10:30 GMT on Saturday in response to the violence.

The victims consist of three 16-year-old boys and two 17-year-old boys. All five were transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment following the assault. Investigators from the Hampshire Police department believe that an unidentified group forced their way into the gathering before the stabbings occurred.

An individual who witnessed the aftermath reported to the BBC that both land-based ambulances and an air ambulance were dispatched to the scene. The witness also noted hearing partygoers confirming they had been stabbed as emergency crews arrived.

As of Sunday, a police cordon remained at the Park Road property as forensic teams and investigators processed the location. Detective Chief Inspector Elizabeth Pirie, the officer leading the inquiry, expressed her gratitude to the neighborhood for their cooperation during this ongoing process. She acknowledged the significant distress such a violent event has caused for those living in the area.

Police have initiated an appeal, urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who possesses relevant information to contact authorities immediately. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the entry of the unidentified group and the subsequent injuries is continuing.
