This achievement highlights the region’s commitment to sustainable development while hosting major international cultural events.

Beyond its environmental accolades, the expo has transformed into a vibrant hub for global artistic exchange. The event features a diverse array of exhibitions, including the acclaimed Dunhuang Fine Arts Exhibition and various displays of traditional craftsmanship, ranging from intricate wood-burning art to historical artifact preservation.

Artistic troupes and creators from around the world have gathered at the edge of the desert to participate in cultural dialogues, share artistic interpretations of ancient Dunhuang dances, and promote cross-cultural understanding.
