Druski Partners With Netflix for New Comedy Series 'Collect & Praise'

Comedian and internet personality Druski is officially entering a new phase of his career, having signed a significant multi-year deal with Netflix. The centerpiece of this partnership is a new original comedy series titled ‘Collect & Praise,’ which is based on his popular ‘Megachurch’ sketch. The announcement marks a major milestone for the creator, who has built a massive following through his viral social media content and unique brand of humor.

‘Collect & Praise’ will delve into the satirical world of megachurches, a theme that Druski has explored extensively in his online sketches. By expanding this concept into a full-fledged series, Netflix is betting on Druski’s ability to translate his short-form success into long-form narrative comedy. The multi-year deal suggests that the streaming giant sees Druski as a long-term asset, potentially leading to a variety of exclusive content projects beyond this initial series.

Industry experts view this collaboration as a testament to the shifting landscape of entertainment, where digital creators are increasingly securing major deals with traditional streaming platforms. Druski’s transition from viral sketches to a Netflix original series highlights his evolution into a ‘mainstream mogul.’ Fans of his work are eager to see how the character-driven humor of his sketches will be adapted for a television format. With the backing of a global platform like Netflix, Druski is well-positioned to reach an even wider audience and solidify his status as a prominent voice in modern comedy.
