Countdown to the 9th China International Import Expo

The stage is set for the 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE), an event that continues to serve as a vital bridge between China and the global market. As the opening date approaches, anticipation is building for what organizers describe as a ’nine-year promise’—a testament to the enduring commitment of international businesses to the Chinese economy.

This year’s expo is set to feature a massive turnout, with over 6,400 participants representing various provinces and industries. Notably, nearly 200 enterprises and organizations that have attended every single edition of the CIIE—referred to as ‘perfect attendance students’—are returning to showcase their latest innovations and projects. These companies view the expo as an indispensable platform for exploring new opportunities and strengthening their footprint in the Chinese market.

Local delegations, such as the one from Jiangxi, are preparing to highlight unique regional products and investment projects, aiming to leverage the expo’s reach to foster domestic and international partnerships. The event is widely regarded as a window into China’s ongoing opening-up policy, offering a collaborative space where global partners can share in the country’s development dividends.

As the world faces economic uncertainties, the 9th CIIE is positioned not just as a trade fair, but as a symbol of global cooperation. By connecting the world and sharing the future, the expo continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the global trade landscape and facilitating deeper integration between China and the international community.
