Beijing Volleyball Teams Launch New Season with Official Ceremony
The Beijing Off-Road Men’s Volleyball team and the Beijing Beibingyang Women’s Volleyball team have officially held their departure ceremonies, marking their readiness for the upcoming season of the China Volleyball Super League. These events served as a rallying point for the players, coaching staff, and fans, signaling the start of a new chapter for both programs as they aim for excellence in the national arena.
This season brings a mix of experience and fresh talent to the Beijing squads. A notable highlight for the men’s team is the registration of 42-year-old Kang Kang, who has become the oldest player in the team’s history to be officially listed for the league. His presence is expected to provide veteran leadership and stability, balancing the energy of the younger recruits. Meanwhile, the women’s team is also looking to make a strong impression, focusing on tactical cohesion and rigorous training to compete against the league’s top-tier opponents.
Across the league, the competition is expected to be fierce. Reports indicate that the ‘Big Three’—Tianjin, Hebei, and Shanghai—are once again positioning themselves as the primary contenders for the men’s title. The Tianjin men’s volleyball team, in particular, has attracted attention for its updated roster, which includes the addition of Zirovic and several new faces, signaling a strategic effort to bolster their lineup for the challenges ahead.
As the teams prepare to hit the court, the atmosphere in the volleyball community is one of anticipation. The Beijing teams are emphasizing the importance of team spirit and long-term development as they head into the season. With the league becoming increasingly competitive, every match will be crucial for securing a favorable position in the standings. Fans are eager to see how these roster adjustments and the blend of veteran wisdom and youthful vigor will translate into on-court success throughout the season.
