Baltimore Ravens Quarterback Tyler Huntley Ruled Out for the Remainder of the Season Due to Turf Toe

The Baltimore Ravens are facing a significant roster challenge after confirming that backup quarterback Tyler Huntley will miss the rest of the 2026 NFL season. Huntley suffered a severe turf toe injury after stepping in to replace Lamar Jackson during a hard-fought matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

Medical evaluations indicated that the injury is severe enough to sideline him indefinitely, sparking discussions within the franchise about potentially placing him on the injured reserve list. In response to the setback, coaching staff and management have moved quickly to adjust their game-plan strategy moving forward.

The team announced plans to start undrafted rookie quarterback Joe Fagnano in the upcoming crucial game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. While losing a reliable backup player is a major blow to the Ravens’ depth chart, the coaching staff remains focused on preparing the young rookie to step into the leadership role under pressure.
